Comic Post #041: Marketing Rule 34

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope you all enjoy turkey way more than I do… (Seriously, why can’t we have like steak or something on this transitional period between Halloween and Christmas? Because turkey kind of sucks…) I got to spend time with my family and I employ all of you to do the same. Or don’t. I don’t really care either way. It’s your life after all, you can live it however you want. Don’t let some random jackass with a barely read blog tell you what to do. Because I don’t want to be held responsible if you do something dumb. I’m mostly yammering on here, so I’ll see you next comic.

I don’t have much to really say this week… And I suspect that will probably be the case for a while, so: Until something actually newsworthy happens in my life, I will merely see you next comic.

(PS – The new site layout for WordPress is terrible. What was wrong with the old one? Everything displays super obnoxiously and I can’t just right click on incorrectly spelled words to correct them. Which is a big problem for me. Because I typo. A LOT. Why would you do that to us? WHY!?)

Not to really spoil anything, but we’ve got another little “story arc” on our hands that will hopefully lead to so “exciting” developments…

Like seriously, I actually have a plan from where we are going with this one…

At any rate, my classes should be slowing down now, so I’m definitely going to be able to keep up with the updates. And, who knows? If this particular story arc ends up taking a while, I might speed up the update schedule to doing 2 comics a week (because I do think this one might take a while). Of course, if that did happen, it wouldn’t be a permanent thing… Not because I can’t handle doing 2 comics a week, but more because I know I can’t brainstorm ideas for comics that fast if they aren’t part of a longer little story chain.

Any who, that’s all I have to say, and I’ll see you next comic.

Can we just take a moment to register the fact that Alex is willing to give life to something for the sole purpose of letting it feel pain?

On an unrelated note, next week for me is going to be crunch time for me… What with my portfolio being due then and everything… Thankfully, I have all the pieces I need… except the portfolio itself. Me, being incredibly broke, opted to do a digital one which I was going to build online myself (BECAUSE I KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT WEBSITE BUILDING…). That being said, I have not started it yet… And it’s due next Friday. I will say, if you’re ever in need of something to motivate you to do something: panic is a pretty good thing to start with. What does this mean for the comic? Like I always say: expect potential delays… Also, there, might be a distinct possibility that if I can’t get my site ready in time, I just post all the stuff I need to show onto the blog itself. ‘Cause that will look super duper professional…

Anyway, see you guys next comic…
